Did you know that there is a constant battle for your mind?

It’s true. Every moment spent on a negative thought means that you are losing that battle. And in the process, friend, a lot is being stolen from you.
What? By whom?
Your joy. Your peace. Your relationships. Your life. Your dreams. Your strength are all being stolen by the one who is known to be a thief. Your enemy.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. ~John 10:10
Negative thoughts are his weapons, ones that he uses daily. Why? Because they are lies that are geared to steer you away from the truth. If the enemy can get you away from the truth, he can lead you into bondage that places strongholds on your mind.
But here’s a great truth for you:
You have weapons also, weapons that are more powerful than his. When your weapons are used properly, the battle that has been waged by him against your mind can and will be won on your behalf for victory.
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, ~II Corinthians 10:4-5 NKJV
The Word of God is one of your weapons. It is the Word of God that you will use to renew your mind. The process of renewing your mind is simply you taking captive the lies of the enemy and replacing them with the word of God’s truth. With the Word, you can tear down the strongholds that have been built up to block your greatest blessings. If you want to take a deeper look into just how important the Word of God is for you, check out this Bible Reading Plan.
You have all power over the enemy.
Let’s face it. There’s no way around us ever not having negative thoughts come to our minds. But when they come, we have the power and ability to do something about them. We can renew our minds.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. ~Romans 12:2
Do you journal? If your answer is, “No”, then let me encourage you to start. Journaling is a great way to put all of your thoughts on paper so that you can read them and pull the lies of the enemy out. Take a look at this one simple tool created with you in mind.

The Benefit of the Mind Renewal Journal Pages:
The Mind Renewal Journal pages have been created in a way to walk you trough the process of doing that. Here’s how they work:
- First, you will start by journaling all of your thoughts for the moment on paper. I encourage you to be very honest and very transparent.
- Second, you will go back and read over what you have written, looking for the lie(s) you’ve believed. Write it out.
- Third, once you have identified the lie(s), you will write underneath it a verse of Scripture that combats the lie you have believed.
- Fourth, instead of dwelling on the lie, choose to dwell on the truth. God’s Word is truth.

Is hearing the voice of God difficult for you?
I can see how that may be challenging to know if what you identify as a lie is actually a lie. No worries. God always provides help for us when it comes to us knowing Him. Check out this article about discerning God’s voice over the enemy’s here.
Friend, the battle is already won.
Can I tell you something? You already have the victory over the negative thoughts of your mind. Jesus Christ, what He did for you on the cross, has won you that victory. Living it out is the journey. And, when your mind is right, when your thoughts align to God’s will of freedom for you, the enemy won’t be able to stop you.
So grab these pages and let them be one of the tools you use to keep you moving forward to victory. Don’t waste another moment on a negative thought. Click the button below.
