Here’s Why That’s So Important for You

God loves you. He wants you to believe it and know it. You are created in His image, and you are the apple of His eye. His desire is for you, to have a relationship with you. He gave up His one and only Son for that reason. To chase Jesus would be for you to live your life in pursuit of that relationship. His will for you is to know Him and His Son. This, He said, is everlasting life. Jesus is the Way.

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
~John 17:3

The tug on your heart to surrender your life to Christ was so that God could bring you to the place of living a life that is pleasing and acceptable to Him. You must follow Jesus to be able to do that. The Word of God says that without Him you can do nothing. Finding life is simply you laying down what you think is life to live the life you’ve been called to live through Jesus Christ.

For without Me you can do nothing.
~John 15:5c

To live Freely is to live a life knowing truth. God’s word is truth. It is also living a life free from sin and free from anything that keeps you away from living a fruitful life in Christ. Living freely is not living a life doing as you please but living within the boundaries of a Father’s love and protection of you. God is that Father.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Truth

I don’t have a truth of my own to give you. However, I know of One who is the Truth. His name is Jesus. He is the Truth I know. He is the truth that you will find weaved through every post here.

Wisdom

If it wasn’t for the wisdom of God, I wouldn’t be where I am today. When I got Wisdom, I got understanding of how life truly works. I am honored to share all of the lessons wisdom has taught me with you.

Encouragement

Everyone can use some encouraging. Encouraging others is a gift that I value greatly. Please know that you will always be able to come here to find encouragement and hope for what’s possible for your life.

Authenticity

I vow to make no pretense about who I really am. It’s important to me that we are able to relate to each other. I want you to know that you are truly valued. And I love finding those with whom I have something in common.

To glorify God is my greatest desire.

The one main reason for this blog is to share my love for Christ and to glorify God in the process. I’m here to help you do the same. We were all created for His glory.
