In the past year, I’ve become a fan of reading books that are accompanied by Bible studies. When a book is centered around the Word of God, there’s nothing like going deeper into it with a study that draws out the message that God is using the author to give to His people. That’s why I’m so excited to share with you what I’m reading for the month of March.

Jennie wrote this book based upon several verses of Scripture that pertain to our minds (Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 10:3-6; Philippians 4:8, etc.). She points out that what we think about is very important to our lives and well-being. She teaches us that certain thoughts we have keep us stuck, stagnant, and defeated. They are toxic and destructive.
Having dealt with these toxic thought patterns herself, Jennie has been on the side of knowing that if we don’t take these thoughts captive, things will only get worse for us. She reminds us that God gave us a strategy for victory. His Word. It is the Word of God that we are to use to renew our minds, thus, bringing about the transformation that the Word promises.
It starts in your head. And from there, the possibilities are endless.
